SRINAGAR: Two people, including the driver, died when a truck skidded off the road and rolled down into a 300-ft gorge in Doda district on Friday.

Official said that a truck met with an accident near Mahlori on the Doda-Kishtwar highway, resulting in the deaths of the driver and his helper at the scene.

“The deceased have been identified as Asif Ahmed, son of Afzal Hajam, from Bhagwah, Bhata, and Amir Ahmed from Saikhwan, Doda,” he said.
