PM Kisan 18th Installment Released Today: How to Check Eligibility
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released the 18th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme in Washim, Maharashtra. This installment, valued at over Rs 20,000 crore, will be transferred directly to more than 9.4 crore farmers’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

The PM-Kisan scheme, launched in February 2019, provides landholding farmers an annual financial benefit of Rs 6,000, paid in three equal installments. With this 18th installment, the total disbursement under the scheme will exceed Rs 3.45 lakh crore, benefiting over 11 crore farmers nationwide.
PM Kisan Yojana Eligibility Criteria
Farmers eligible for the scheme must meet the following conditions:
- They should be landholding farmer families with cultivable land in their names.
- Small and marginal farmers with land up to 2 hectares are eligible.
How to Check Eligibility for PM Kisan Yojana
Follow these steps to check your eligibility and see if you’re included in the beneficiary list:
- Visit the official PM-KISAN website.
- Navigate to the beneficiary list page.
- Select your state, district, sub-district, block, and village.
- Click on ‘Get Report’ to view the list.
Additionally, beneficiary lists are displayed at local Panchayats for transparency.
How to Download the PM Kisan Mobile Application
To make it easier for farmers to check their status, PM Kisan offers a mobile app. Here’s how you can download and use it:
- Download the PM Kisan App from the official source.
- Login using your Aadhaar number or Registration ID.
- Receive an OTP and enter it.
- Click on the Dashboard.
- Select ‘Beneficiary status’ and choose the relevant installment number.
- Click on ‘Get details’ to see your installment status.
PM Kisan Yojana eKYC Process
Farmers need to ensure that their eKYC is updated to continue receiving the benefits of the scheme. There are three available methods for completing eKYC:
- OTP-based eKYC on the PM-KISAN portal or mobile app.
- Biometric eKYC at Common Service Centres (CSCs) or State Seva Kendras (SSKs).
- Face authentication-based eKYC available on the PM KISAN Mobile App.
