University of Kashmir Selection Notice for PG and UG Programmes (2024)

Following the vacant seats due to incomplete admission formalities, the University of Kashmir has provisionally selected candidates for admission to various PG and UG programmes (both Professional and Non-Professional) under the Self-finance quota. The selection is based on merit obtained in the Kashmir University Entrance Test – 2024.

Important Instructions for Selected Candidates

All selected candidates must adhere to the following requirements for the admission process:

1. Document Verification: Candidates must present all relevant original documents, including:

• Marks card(s) of the qualifying examination
• Domicile certificate
• Character and provisional certificates from the last attended institution (if applicable)
• Migration certificate (if applicable)

1. Eligibility and Registration: Submit an eligibility cum revival of registration/migration form, if applicable, along with the prescribed fee.
2. Eligibility Conditions: Ensure that the minimum eligibility requirements are fulfilled. These will be verified by the respective Department.
3. Academic Clearance: Candidates with qualifications from universities/institutions outside the Kashmir and Jammu University regions must obtain clearance from the Academic Section.
4. NOC for In-service Candidates: In-service candidates must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments.

For Department Heads/Directors/Coordinators

The Departmental Admission Committee, chaired by the Heads/Directors/Coordinators of respective Departments/Institutes/Centres, will confirm the eligibility of all selected candidates by verifying their original documents.

Ensure all required conditions are met promptly for a smooth admission process.
