IGP Kashmir Promotes 511 Head Constables.The Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Shri V.K. Birdi (IPS), has promoted 511 officials within the Kashmir Zone to their next ranks.
Based on recommendations from the Departmental Promotion Committee at ZPHQ Kashmir, which assessed the eligibility of Head Constables for elevation, IGP Kashmir approved the promotion of 511 Head Constables to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors. Additionally, sanction was granted for In-situ Grade Promotion for six officials after completing the required period of satisfactory service.
