Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications and Teaching Experience
Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions outlined in Govt Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023 dated 04.04.2023 and its corrigendum.
Age Limit
Maximum age: As per S.O 364 of 2020 and SRO 426 of 2012.
Required Documents for Application
Candidates must upload self-attested copies of the following documents in proper order:
- Proof of Date of Birth: 10th diploma.
- BDS Degree: From a DCI-recognized College/University.
- BDS Marks Sheets: All semesters.
- Internship Completion Certificate.
- Attempt Certificate: Issued by the University.
- MDS Degree: In the relevant specialty, from a DCI-recognized College.
- J&K Dental Council Registration Certificate: With up-to-date renewal.
- Affidavit: Attested by a 1st Class Magistrate, affirming the candidate is not in Government service and that all uploaded documents are genuine.
- Domicile Certificate of J&K UT.
- Aadhar Card and PAN Card.
- Passport-sized Photograph.
- Additional Documents: As required by the selection committee during the recruitment process.
Special Attributes for Selection

- Teaching Experience: Proof of service as Professor/Associate Professor in a Government-recognized institution. Submit as a single PDF.
- Research Publications: At least four research papers (minimum two as Associate Professor) in indexed journals (Medline, PubMed, Scopus, etc.). Submit the first page of each publication as a single PDF.
- Oral Presentations: Evidence of invited lectures, guest lectures, or presentations at national/international conferences with published abstracts. Submit as a single PDF.
- Poster Presentations: Relevant presentations at conferences with published abstracts. Submit as a single PDF.
- Books or Chapters: Authorship of specialty-related books or chapters (ISBN/ISSN indexed). Submit the title page and author details as a single PDF.
- Gold Medal: Proof of achieving the overall first position in BDS.
Important Instructions

Conditions of Appointment
