JKPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2024: Apply for School Education Department Positions
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued Notification No. 07-PSC (DR-P) OF 2024, dated December 9, 2024, inviting online applications for Lecturer posts in the School Education Department. Eligible candidates domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: A Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
Age Limit (as of January 1, 2024): Open Merit (OM): Maximum 40 years (born between January 1, 1984, and January 1, 2006). Reserved Categories: Maximum 43 years (born between January 1, 1981, and January 1, 2006). Physically Handicapped (PHC): Maximum 42 years (born between January 1, 1982, and January 1, 2006). In-Service Candidates: Maximum 40 years.
Reservation: Valid category certificates are mandatory for claiming reservation. Fraudulent claims may result in disqualification and legal action.
Persons with Disabilities Reservation: 16 posts out of 575 are reserved for candidates with benchmark disabilities in subjects like Botany, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Start of Online Applications: December 10, 2024. Last Date for Online Applications: 17 January 2025
Editing Period for Applications: 18 January 2025 to 24 January 202025ECut-off Date for Eligibility and Domicile: January 1, 2024.
Application Guidelines
Applications must be submitted online only via the JKPSC website. No hard copies or supporting documents are to be submitted physically. Application fees must be paid online.
Documents Required (Mandatory)
Date of Birth Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Academic qualifications (Bachelor’s, Master’s, M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees with mark sheets), Relevant reservation or disability certificates (if applicable), In-service candidates must submit a certificate signed by their Head of Department (HOD).
Additional Weightage Documents (if applicable): NCC/NSS certificates as per J&K rules.
Key Notes
Submitting multiple applications may lead to disqualification unless one RID (Registration ID) is retained. Documents must remain valid throughout the selection process.
