Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- MBBS Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Postgraduate qualification (MD/MS/DNB/MDS or higher specialization like DM/MCh/DNB) as per Government Orders.
- Relevant eligibility details are outlined in Govt. Order No. 282 JK (HME) of 2023 dated 04-04-2023 and Govt. Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20-06-2024.
Age Limit:
- Maximum: 50 years as of the cut-off date.
Application Process
- Download and fill the prescribed application form attached to the official notification.
- Submit the completed form with a non-refundable bank draft of ₹500 (J&K Bank) in favor of Principal, Govt. Medical College, Udhampur.
- Send the application with self-attested copies of required documents via registered post or hand delivery to the undersigned’s office by the deadline.
Required Documents
- Date of Birth Certificate (10th Mark Sheet/Diploma).
- MBBS, MD/MS/DNB/MCh/DM Mark Sheets and Degrees.
- Attempt Certificates for MBBS terms (1st to Final Year).
- Registration Certificate (MCI/NMC/State Medical Council).
- Internship Completion Certificate.
- Certificates of Academic Merit, Scholarships, or Honors (if any).
- Junior House-job Certificate (if applicable).
- FMGE Certificate (for foreign MBBS graduates).
- Publications in recognized medical journals (if any).
Selection Process
- Based on the eligibility criteria defined in Govt. Order No. 383-JK(HME) of 2024.
- Final selection will consider educational qualifications, performance, and document verification.
Terms and Conditions
- The appointment will be on an Academic Arrangement Basis under S.O. 364 dated 27.11.2020.
- Tenure is initially for 1 year, extendable up to a maximum of 3 years.
- Salary will be as per the terms of S.O. 364 of 2020.
- Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.
