Government of Jammu & Kashmir Announces Final Selection List for Mission Youth’s HLG Super-75 & Super-75 (B) Scholarship Scheme
The Office of the Chief Executive Officer, Mission Youth, J&K, has released the final selection list of candidates for the HLG Super-75 and Super-75 (B) scholarship schemes for the academic year 2023-24. These scholarships aim to provide financial support to meritorious and deserving students from across Jammu and Kashmir to pursue higher education.
Notification Highlights
The application process garnered significant participation, with 401 candidates submitting their applications online. After a rigorous screening process involving document verification and physical counseling sessions conducted in February 2024, a list of 50 eligible candidates has been finalized.

- Pending/Rejected Applications: Reasons for ineligibility or pending verification are provided in Annexure “B”.
Counseling & Verification
- Participation: A total of 27 students from various districts participated in the final counseling sessions held in Jammu and Srinagar.
- Challenges: The scrutiny revealed incomplete documentation from 18 candidates. Despite repeated reminders and extended deadlines, many failed to complete the verification process.
- Final Opportunity: Objections from candidates citing personal challenges for missing earlier deadlines were considered by the Mission Youth Secretariat.
Approval of Final List
The finalized selection includes 24 additional candidates (16 female and 8 male) who completed their document verification during the last phase.

- Bisma Riyaz: From Baramulla, pursuing PG.
- Tahir Ahmad Lone: From Kupwara, pursuing PhD.
- Showkat Majeed Lone: From Anantnag, pursuing PG.
Ineligible Candidates
Annexure “B” provides reasons for ineligibility, including:
- Exceeding the prescribed income limit.
- Failure to provide valid documentation or express interest in pursuing the scholarship.
