Two Separate Road Accidents Leave 10 Injured in South Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Ten people were injured in two separate road accidents along the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway in the Qazigund area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday

An official said that a Tata Mobile vehicle skidded off the road near Mir Bazar in the morning, injuring five persons. All the injured, residents of Bakerwal Check Manzmoh, were shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for treatment.

In a separate incident at Levdoora Flyover, five passengers were injured in a head-on collision involving two vehicles. Officials attributed the accident to high speed

Police, including the SDPO and SHO Qazigund, reached the spot and evacuated the injured to a nearby hospital. All ten injured persons are reported to be in stable condition.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of both accidents. (KNO)
