SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in several areas of South Kashmir on April 8 and 10 due to infrastructure upgrades.

According to the Chief Engineer of KPDCL, the disruption is necessitated by the dismantling of old and spare poles as part of the stabilisation work on the 33 kV Landoora line originating from the GIS Lassipora Grid Station.
As a result, power supply will remain affected from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on both days at the receiving stations of Landoora and Moman (under STD-Bijbehara), along with their associated areas including Landoora, Mantribugh, Chakoora, Hermain, Hajipora, Frisal, Watchi, and Kashmir life
