Tragedy at CD Hospital: SRINAGAR: A 44-year-old man from the Dalgate area of Srinagar allegedly died due to medical negligence at the Chest Disease (CD) Hospital. Officials have confirmed that an investigation has been initiated to ascertain the facts.

The family members of the deceased, Rafiq Ahmad, said he had complained of chest pain on Wednesday morning and had visited the CD Hospital for a medical check-up.
They alleged that the doctor on duty did not provide proper treatment. “When we tried to seek appropriate care for Rafiq, the doctor misbehaved with us,” the family claimed, adding that the doctor reportedly left the ward following the patient’s death.
The family has demanded a thorough investigation and action against the doctor, appealing to the authorities to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
Meanwhile, an official from CD Hospital said that a probe is underway.An investigation is ongoing, and any negligence, if found, will be dealt with strictly,” the official said. (KNO)
