“Under-Construction Walkway Collapses into Jhelum River, Two Injured in Incident”: SRINAGAR: An under-construction cable walkway over the River Jhelum collapsed on Monday in the Latti Mohallah Shadipora area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, injuring two individuals.

An official said the structure collapsed during construction, causing the incident. “The injured have been identified as Parvaiz Ahmad Lorhanji, son of Mohammad Sultan Lorhanji, a resident of Latti, and Azad Ahmad Guroo, son of Mohammad Ramzan Guroo, a resident of Gundroshan.”
Both were shifted to JVC Hospital for treatment. A police team was deputed to the site for assistance and investigation.
