“Bus Falls Into Gorge in J&K’s Poonch: 2 Dead, Multiple Injured in Tragic Accident”: SRINAGAR: At least two people were killed and several others injured after a bus skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in the Ghani area of Mendhar in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Tuesday morning.

According to officials, the bus was en route to Mendhar when the driver reportedly lost control near Khod Dhara. The vehicle veered off the road and plunged into a deep gorge, resulting in the on-the-spot death of two persons.
Rescue teams, including police, Indian Army units, and local residents, reached the site to assist the injured and retrieve the bodies.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.Police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further proceedings are underway. (KB)
