Jammu Kashmir Govt Reshuffles Several Forest Officers

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered the transfer and posting of 13 senior officers of the Indian Forest Service (IFS) across various wings of the Forest, Ecology and Environment Department with immediate effect.

According to a government order, Sarvesh Rai (IFS, 1991), Chief Wildlife Warden, J&K, has been assigned additional charge as Director, Forest Protection Force. Similarly, T Rabi Kumar (IFS, 1995), CEO, CAMPA, J&K, has been given additional responsibilities as CCF, Planning and Projects, and CCF, Working Plan, Research & Training.

Sandeep Kujur (IFS, 1995) has been transferred from Director, Forest Protection Force, to Director, Social Forestry, and will also handle Soil & Water Conservation. He shall hold additional charge of Director, Soil and Water Conservation. Chaturbhuja Behera (IFS, 1996), Managing Director of JKFDCL, is now posted as Director, JKFRI.

Suneesh Buxy (IFS, 1998), previously Director, Social Forestry, J&K, will now serve as Managing Director, JKFDCL. Meanwhile, Riddhi Jagadh Vasudev (IFS, 2001) has been appointed as CCF, Eco-tourism, replacing Sarvesh Rai in the post.

K Anandh (IFS, 2004), who was serving as CCF/Nodal Officer FCA, has been posted as CCF Central and will also hold additional charge of CF Vigilance. Tawheed Ahmad Deva (IFS, 2009) has been transferred as CF/Regional Wildlife Warden, Kashmir, while continuing as CF Srinagar Circle.

Syed Nadeem Hussain (IFS, 2009), Regional Director, Social Forestry, Jammu, has been posted as Conservator of Forests, South Circle, Kashmir. Arashdeep Singh (IFS, 2012) has been shifted from South Circle to Chenab Circle.

Navneet Singh (IFS, 2016), formerly DFO Udhampur, has been posted as Regional Director, DEERS, Jammu, while Suresh Manda (IFS, 2016), DFO Jammu, is now Chief General Manager, JKFDCL (P&P). Anurag Arya (IFS, 2021) will now serve as DFO, Jammu Forest Division.
