SRINAGAR: A 35-year-old man died after falling from a tree in Andergam area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday, officials said.

An official said that the man was injured after he fell from a tree and was shifted to SDH Pattan.
He was later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead, the official said. The man was identified as Shabir Ahmad Ganie (35), son of Abdul Aziz, a resident of Andergam, Pattan.
Meanwhile, police have taken up an investigation into the incident. (KNO)
