According to the Meteorological Department (MeT), the heatwave conditions are expected to ease as rain is likely to occur in the coming days. The MeT has forecast light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in several parts of Jammu and Kashmir, offering much-needed relief from the sweltering heat.
Authorities have urged people to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activities during peak hours to prevent heat-related illnesses. Farmers and agricultural workers have also been advised to take precautions and stay updated with weather alerts.
