North Kashmir Landslide: JCB Operator Loses Life During Operation: SRINAGAR: JCB operator lost his life after a landslide struck while he was working in the Jawalapora Wudder area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday night.

An official said that a JCB machine owned by Riyaz Ahmad Dar, a resident of Jawalapora, was working at the site when it got buried under a sudden landslide.
The operator, identified as Tasir Ahmad Bhat, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, and a resident of Dulipora Waterhail, died on the spot as the heavy clay engulfed the machine, he said.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further details are being ascertained.(JKNS)
