“Motorcycle Accident in J&K’s Poonch: One Killed, Another Injured After Skidding Off Road”: SRINAGAR: An ex-serviceman was killed and another person injured after their motorcycle met with an accident in the Mankote area of Mendhar, Poonch district, on Wednesday.

Officials said that a motorcycle bearing registration number JK12C-1152 lost control and skidded off the road near Uchhad BSF Camp, falling into a deep gorge.
“In the incident, the motorcyclist, identified as Choudhary Anzar Ahmad, son of Mohammad Kabir, resident of Dahargaloon, died on the spot. The pillion rider, Zulfikar Ahmad, son of Naziq Hussain, resident of Kotan Mendhar, sustained injuries.”
BMO Mendhar Dr Ashfaq said the injured was received at SDH Mendhar and later referred to GMC Rajouri for further treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident. (GNS)
