Terms and Conditions of Engagement:
- Performance-Based Tenure:
Continuation of the tenure appointment is contingent upon the candidate’s satisfactory work performance and professional conduct in the College/Hospital/Dispensary. Any involvement in misconduct, negligence, or activities such as strikes that hinder patient care or hospital operations may result in immediate termination of the appointment without notice. - Residential Requirements:
The appointee must reside within the College/Hospital premises if accommodation is available. In the absence of such facilities, the candidate is expected to stay near the college campus. - Ban on Private Practice:
The candidate is strictly prohibited from engaging in any form of private medical practice during the tenure. Violation of this condition will result in immediate termination of the appointment. - Police Verification Mandatory:
Salary disbursement will be subject to the receipt of a satisfactory verification report from the Inspector General of Police, CID, Jammu and Kashmir. - Resignation Notice:
Should the candidate wish to resign, a one-month prior notice must be submitted through the Head of Department (HOD). In the absence of such notice, the candidate will be required to deposit one month’s salary to the institution in lieu thereof.
