SRINAGAR: An 18-year-old boy died after receiving an electric shock while repairing electrical circuits in Poonch on Friday late night, officials said.

Officials said that the deceased has been identified as Mohd Imran, son of Mohd Rashid, a resident of village Jandrola, presently living at Ward No.1 Suka Khata, Tehsil Mandi, Poonch.
They said Imran was immediately shifted to District Hospital Poonch for treatment but was declared brought dead by the doctors.
Meanwhile, police cognisance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started. (KNC)
