Appointment of 32 Assistant Engineers in J&K.

GOVERNMENT OF JAMMU AND KASHMIR JAL SHAKTI DEPARTMENT CIVIL SECRETARIAT, JAMMU/SRINAGAR

Reference:

i) Advertisement Notification No. 20- PSC (DR-P) of 2023 dated 26.05.2023 issued by the Jammu and Kashmir, Public Service Commission.

ii) Letter No.PSC/DR/AE-Civil/2022 dated 22.04.2024 received from Jammu and Kashmir, Public Service Commission.

Government Order No. 118-JK (JSD) of 2024 Dated: 03.06.2024

As recommended by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, sanction is hereby accorded to the temporary appointment of the following candidates as Assistant Engineers (Civil) Union Territory Level, in the Pay Level-8A (50700-160600) in the Jal Shakti Department with immediate effect:-

The appointees shall report to the ditional Secretary to the Government, Jal Shakti Department, Civil Secretariat, Jammu/ Srinagar within a of twenty one (21) days from the date of issuance of this Government Order. In case any candidate fails to join within the stipulated time period, their appointment shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio without any Notice.

The appointees shall be allowed to join after production of the following certificates/documents (in original) to be verified separately:-

Educational/Technical Qualification (Degree Certificate) issued by the recognized Institute/University valid for employment. i

Matriculation/DoB Certificate. ii.

Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.

V Certificate from the District Industries Centre (DIC) and District Employment and Counseling Centre to the effect that no loan under any self-employment scheme has been availed by the candidate.

Health Certificate from the concerned District Chief Medical Officer.

vi. Valid relevant category certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if any applicable.

Besides, the appointment of the above candidates shall further be subject to the following conditions:-

a. Each appointee shall give an undertaking in the shape of an affidavit to the effect that if on verification, his/her Qualification/Date of Birth/Reserved Category Certificates from the concerned issuing authorities is found fake/forged, his/her appointment as Assistant Engineer in the Jal Shakti Department shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio and the legal action as warranted under rules shall be initiated against him/her.

b. That if the candidate(s) has taken loan for self-employment from DIC/Employment Department, to be ascertained from the District Industries Centre (DIC) and District Employment and Counseling Centre of the D District, he/she shall be required to repay the entire loan liability in suit.
