SRINAGAR: A labourer died and another was injured after a falling stone hit them at a quarry site in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.

Official said that the incident took place at the quarry in the Waterkhani area of Drugmulla, where a stone fell, injuring two labourers.
Both were taken to hospital, where one was declared dead on arrival. The other is undergoing treatment. The deceased has been identified as Habibullah Malik, a resident of Drugmulla.
Police said a case has been registered and further investigation is underway. (GNS)
