🎓 GCET Jammu B.Tech Admission 2025-26: Important Instructions & Required Documents : The Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), Jammu, announces the Provisional Admission Process for B.Tech Courses for the Academic Session 2025-26. Candidates selected by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) are required to report to the college for document verification and admission formalities.

📌 Mandatory Documents (Original + Two Self-Attested Copies):

  1. CET-2025 Admit Card issued by JKBOPEE (if applicable).
  2. 10+2 Marks Certificate – Subject-wise scorecard of the qualifying exam.
  3. Matriculation Certificate / Date of Birth Proof.
  4. Provisional Certificate of 10+2 (qualifying examination).
  5. Domicile Certificate.
  6. Migration Certificate from the Board/University (if applicable).
  7. Discharge Certificate from the last institution attended.
  8. Character Certificate – Issued either by the last attended institution or local police station (valid for 6 months with dispatch number and date).
  9. Medical Fitness Certificate – Issued by Director Health Services, Govt. Hospital (must include dispatch number and date).
  10. Category Certificate (if applicable) issued by the competent authority as per latest SRO guidelines.
  11. TFW Category Candidates – Must submit original Income Certificate to avail Tuition Fee Waiver.
  12. EWS Category Candidates – Must produce Income and Assets Certificate duly attested by the competent authority, as per Govt. Circular No. 19-GAD of 2019.
  13. Six (06) recent passport size photographs.
  14. Online Anti-Ragging Affidavits – To be downloaded from https://www.amanmovement.org/index/infopack.
  15. Hostel Facility (Boys) – Students wishing to avail hostel accommodation must download the hostel form from the GCET Jammu website and submit it to the Warden, Boys Hostel.

💳 Admission Fee Payment Instructions:

The admission fee must be paid online only after successful document verification by the Admission Committee.

  • Incomplete applications or missing documents will lead to disqualification from the admission process.
