GMC Doda Faculty Recruitment 2025: Apply for 48 Professor, Associate & Assistant Professor Posts: GMC Doda has released Advertisement Notice No. 04-GMCD of 2025 dated 18-03-2025 inviting applications from Non-PSC/Retired Medical Professionals, both Domicile and Non-Domicile, for faculty positions on an academic arrangement basis. The recruitment will be conducted in accordance with S.O. 364 dated 27-11-2020.

Professor – 21 posts

Associate Professor – 21 posts

Assistant Professor – 06 posts
Total Vacancies – 48 Posts

  • Tenure of Appointment:

Professors and Associate Professors: Initially for 3 years, extendable up to 6 years (one year at a time), based on performance and conduct.

Assistant Professors: Appointed for 1 year, extendable similarly.

Appointments are strictly temporary and will not confer any claim for permanent recruitment. Selection will be made as per Government Order No: 282-JK (HME) of 2023 dated 04.04.2023.

  5. Date of Birth Certificate
  6. Domicile Certificate
  • Salary and Incentives:

Appointees will receive consolidated monthly salary + DA + HRA as per S.O. 364 guidelines.
Additional monthly incentives:

Professor: ₹50,000/-

Associate Professor: ₹45,000/-

Assistant Professor: ₹30,000/-

  • Important Terms:

Faculty will be assigned teaching and research duties only.

No administrative roles like HOD, Unit Head, or Principal will be allotted.

Appointments are purely on an academic basis and end automatically at 70 years of age.

Services can be terminated with one month’s notice or payment in lieu by either party.

Final decision in case of any dispute lies with the Chairperson of the Selection Committee.

Number of posts is subject to change at the time of selection.
