Director MeT, Dr Mukhtar Ahmad, said that light to moderate rain and thundershowers are expected at many places till Tuesday. “Generally dry weather is expected from June 03 to 08, though brief rain or thundershowers in isolated places during late afternoon cannot be ruled out,” he said.
He added that the weather is expected to remain dry from June 09 to 10.
The MeT advisory also warned that intense rainfall at isolated locations could lead to localised flash floods. (KNO)
