Kashmir weather forecast for Next 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir
According to the meteorological department, there will be scattered rain and thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds in the plains, and snowfall in the upper reaches of J&K in the next 24 hours.
The snowfall is expected to continue from March 18-20, but there is no forecast of heavy rain and snow during this period.
Farmers are advised to postpone spraying of orchards during this time.

Temperature-wise, Srinagar recorded a low of 6.6°C, Qazigund recorded a low of 4.5°C, Pahalgam recorded a low of 1.6°C, Kokernag recorded a low of 4.6°C, and Gulmarg recorded a low of 0.5°C. Jammu recorded a low of 14.3°C, Banihal recorded a low of 6.2°C, Batote recorded a low of 7.3°C, Katra recorded a low of 12.5°C, and Bhadarwah recorded a low of 4.6°C.
In Ladakh, Leh and Drass recorded a low of minus 3.2°C and minus 3.6°C, respectively.
