According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the 33KV Nehalpora-Gulmarg line will be shut down on 10 and 14 May from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM. As a result, the 33/11KV receiving stations at Tangmarg and Kulhama will remain non-operational, disrupting electricity supply to Tangmarg, Kulhama and the adjoining areas during the specified hours.

Additionally, a similar shutdown will affect the same transmission line on 17 May, during which the 33/11KV receiving stations at Gulmarg, Khyber, Baba Reshi, and Cable Car will be turned off. Power supply to Gulmarg, Khyber, Baba Reshi, Cable Car and surrounding localities will be interrupted from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on that day.

Furthermore, the 33KV Magam-Kongamdara line is scheduled to be shut down on 8 and 19 May for the same maintenance activity. This will result in the shutdown of receiving stations at Kunzer, Dhobiwan, Kongamdara and Ahmadpora, impacting electricity supply to these areas and nearby regions from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on both days.

KPDCL has urged residents to make necessary arrangements and cooperate during the maintenance work aimed at ensuring uninterrupted power supply in the long term.
