The selected candidate will work on the research project titled:
“Design and Analysis of Combined Solar Photovoltaic System and Wind Energy System using Variable Frequency Transformer (VFT) for Rural Electrification in J&K.”
The appointment will initially be for eight months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding availability.

Eligibility Criteria:
Academic Qualifications:
- Option 1 (B.Tech + M.Tech):
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum Marks:
- Open/OBC: 60% or CGPA ≥ 6.5/10
- SC/ST: 55% or CGPA ≥ 6.0
- Option 2 (B.Tech only):
- 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum Marks + Valid GATE Score:
- Open/OBC: 75% or CGPA ≥ 8.0
- SC/ST: 70% or CGPA ≥ 7.5
Desirable Skills:
- Strong knowledge in Renewable Energy Systems and Electrical Drives
- Proficiency in simulation tools like MATLAB or Typhoon HIL
