Pahalgam Terror Attack: PM Modi Reviews Situation, Amit Shah Holds Emergency Meeting”:SRINAGAR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is currently visiting Saudi Arabia, spoke with Home Minister Amit Shah over the phone regarding the Pahalgam militant attack. The Home Minister subsequently convened an emergency meeting at his residence in Delhi, sources said.
Quoting sources, KNO reported that Prime Minister asked Amit Shah to take all appropriate measures and to visit the site of the attack.
Earlier today, militants attacked a group of tourists in Baisarana village, Pahalgam. Several persons are feared dead, and many others were injured, according to officials.
Following the attack, Amit Shah called an emergency meeting at his residence in Delhi. Sources told KNO that the Director of the Intelligence Bureau, the Home Secretary, and other senior officials were present at the meeting.
They added that Amit Shah also spoke to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah after the incident.The Director General of the CRPF, the Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police, and Army officials also joined the meeting via video conferencing. (KNO)
