“Police Transfers in J&K: IPS and SP-Level Officers Undergo Key Postings”: JAMMU, May 20: The Government today transferred two senior IPS officers besides ordering posting of 4 SP rank officers who were awaiting adjustments.

As per an order, SJM Gillani, the 1994 batch IPS officer, MD J&K Police Housing Corporation, currently holding the additional charge of Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Special DG Coordination PHQ. He’s also asked to hold the additional charge of MD, J&K Police Housing Corporation.
Further, Alok Kumar, the 1997 batch IPS officer, Director, J&K Fire and Emergency Services, has been asked to hold the charge of Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF, J&K in addition to his own duties.
Meanwhile, another order said Fayaz Yasin Dar, SP (Telecom), awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as SP Telecom Kashmir Zone against an available vacancy, and Akthar Hussain Buch, SP (Telecom), awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as Staff to DPT against an available vacancy.
Similarly, Javid Iqbal Attar, SP (Telecom), awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as SP Telecom ACS Kashmir against an available vacancy, and Satish Kumar, SP (Telecom), awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as SP Telecom ACS Jammu against an available Source Daily excelsior.
