Notification No. 061-BOPEE of 2023, dated August 13, 2023.
Following the release of the B. Pharmacy Course-2023 results by J&K BOPEE in Notification No. 047-BOPEE of 2023, dated July 31, 2023, the Board has announced the conduct of Physical Counseling for eligible candidates for admission to the mentioned course on August 13, 2023.
After conducting physical counseling simultaneously at BOPEE Offices in Srinagar and Jammu on the specified date, the list of provisionally selected candidates for B. Pharmacy Course-2023 based on merit and preferences chosen during counseling is available as Annexure-A to this notification. The list can be accessed on the official website of the Board, www.jkbopee.gov.in.
Candidates are advised to report to their respective allotted Colleges/Institutions between August 16, 2023, and August 22, 2023, until 04:00 p.m. They must bring the following original documents:
- Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation Diploma/10th class marks card).
- Marks Card of 10+2 (with PCM or PCB).
- Domicile Certificate.
- Applicable Category Certificate.
- Any other document requested by the college authorities.
Candidates allocated Government/Private Colleges are required to join their provisionally allotted College/Seat(s) by August 22, 2023, 04:00 p.m. Non-compliance will render them ineligible for the 2nd Round of counseling for up-gradation/allotment.
It is the responsibility of the respective Colleges/Institutions to verify documents and eligibility based on Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) guidelines before allowing admission.
Unfilled seats and any shortfall will be communicated by concerned College(s)/Institutions to the Board through a hard copy, signed by the respective Heads of the College/Institution, by August 23, 2023, 12:00 noon. These vacant seats will be filled during the 2nd round of counseling, the dates for which will be notified separately.
Heads of Colleges/Institutions should keep admission counters open during holidays, including Sundays, until August 22, 2023.
Note:
- Admission is provisional and can be canceled if any provided information is found false/fabricated, leading to legal action.
- College/Institution management is urged to verify documents, especially Category Certificates when granting admission.
