Three JKAS Officers Relieved from Ladakh, Asked to Report Back to J&K GAD

SRINAGAR: The Administration of Ladakh has ordered the relieving of three Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers from their duties in the Union Territory, directing them to report to the General Administration Department (GAD) of JK for further posting.

J&K Finance Department Reshuffles 97 AAOs with Fresh Transfers and Postings

An order issued by GAD Ladakh, Sandeep Singh, Under Secretary in the General Administration Department; Akshay Sharma, Under Secretary in Home and Vigilance Department; and Mohit Sharma, Under Secretary in Forest, Ecology and Environment, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj and Science and Technology, shall stand relieved with effect from September 25, 2025.

The order further states that Vivek Rattan, Under Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, will be relieved as per the directions of the Lt Governor, while Rehmatullah Butt, Assistant Director in the Employment Department Leh, will be relieved on December 31, 2025.

From January 1, 2026, Anjil Singh will hold the additional charge of Assistant Director, Employment Department, replacing Butt.
