Led by Assistant Commissioner Food Safety Srinagar, Yameen Ul Nabi, and Food Safety Officers Fayaz Ahmad Bhat and Hakeem Adil Rashid, the team conducted inspections at Parimpora Market and Fruit Mandi Parimpora. Violators were fined under Section 69 of the Food Safety and Standards Act.
With the holy month of Ramadan approaching, the department is focusing on ensuring the quality and safety of essential food items, including dates and dry fruits.
