13-Year-Old Boy Goes Missing in Nallah, Search and Rescue Operation Underway

SRINAGAR: A 13-year-old boy went missing while bathing in Ningli Nallah near Wanigam Wagoora bridge in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday afternoon.

Official sources said that the boy, identified as Shoaib Rasool, son of Gh Rasool, a resident of Veernar Hudpora Chandoosa, had gone to bathe in the stream when he suddenly disappeared under the water.

Soon after the incident, a joint rescue operation was launched by locals and police to trace the missing boy. Teams from SDRF, police and other rescue agencies have also been alerted, they said.
