SRINAGAR: An 18-year-old boy drowned while bathing in Dal Lake near Nigeen Club in Srinagar on Sunday.

Bank manager, former cop among 9 booked in separate cases for duping people in Jammu
An official said that, the youth has been identified as Faizan Amir Sheikh, a resident of Noorbagh Noor Colony, Srinagar. “On receiving information, SDRF QRT Nigeen and QRT Hazratbal launched a joint operation and successfully retrieved the body,” he said.
The body was later handed over to the concerned police for legal formalities. (KNC)
