22 JKAS Officers Transfers and postings in Jammu and Kashmir

Government Order No.143-JK(GAD) of 2025 Dated: 27.01.2025

In the interest of administration, the following transfers and postings are hereby ordered with immediate effect:

  1. Mr. Munir-ul-Islam, JKAS, Chief Executive Officer/Secretary, J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, is transferred and posted as Secretary in the Information Department.
  2. Mr. Ajaz Abdullah Saraf, JKAS, Additional Transport Commissioner, J&K, is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer/Secretary, J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
  3. Dr. Firdous Ahmad Giri, JKAS, Additional Director SKIMS, Srinagar, is transferred and posted as Mission Director RUSA, J&K, against an available vacancy.

Mr. Qazi Sarwar, JKAS, Additional Commissioner in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir.

Mr. Bashir Ahmad Wani, JKAS, Additional District Development Commissioner, Kulgam, is transferred and posted as Additional Registrar Cooperatives, Kashmir.

  1. Mr. Altaf Ahmad Khan JKAS, Additional Registrar Cooperatives, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Kulgam.
  2. Mr. Akram Ullah Tak, JKAS, Director Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir.
  3. Mr. Pran Singh, JKAS, Additional District Development Commissioner, Doda, is transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Housing and Urban Development Department.
  4. Mr. Zahoor Ahmad Mir, JKAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Housing and Urban Development Department, is transferred and posted as Additional Director SKIMS, Srinagar.
  5. Mr. Sanjay Gupta, JKAS, Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes, Enforcement (Samba), is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Mining Department.
  6. Mr. Arun Kishore Kotwal, JKAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, Mining Department, is transferred and posted as Additional Transport Commissioner, J&K.
  7. Mr. Bal Krishan, JKAS, Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Bhaderwah, is transferred and posted as Additional Registrar The Cooperatives, Jammu relieving Ms. Purnima
