SRINAGAR: A 50-year-old man from Gujarat was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the bus stand in Pahalgam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday, officials said.

A police official said that the deceased has been identified as Nag Raj, a resident of Baw Nagar, Gujarat. His body was recovered near the Pahalgam bus stand early in the morning.
The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear. Authorities have launched an inquest under relevant legal provisions, and the body has been taken for medico-legal formalities.
