SRINAGAR: A 23-year-old boy died and two others sustained injuries after their motorcycle met an accident in the DH pora area of Kulgam, South Kashmir.

Police sources said three young boys riding a motorcycle with registration number JK22 C 8572 skidded off the road at Nagam while returning from Ziyarat Chimmer to Shopian.

One of the riders, identified as Sameer Mubarak Rather, son of Mubarak Ahmed Rather, a resident of Zaipora Dramarth, died at the spot.

The other two injured, Munib Shafi Mir, son of Mohd Shafi Mir, and Gowhar Gulzar Rather, son of Gulzar Ahmed Rather, both residents of Zaipora Dramath, were shifted to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment.
