The son, Danish Ahmad Khan, succumbed to the fumes despite receiving prompt medical attention on Saturday morning. His mother, Fameeda Akhter, remains in critical condition and is under intensive medical care.

The incident took place in Gudder village, with authorities confirming that the suffocation was caused by fumes from the charcoal fire.
