SRINAGAR: At least seven passengers were injured after a vehicle rolled down into a deep gorge in the Doda district of the Jammu division.

An official said that an Eco vehicle travelling from Ghundna to Fafri met with an accident near Fafri, rolling down approximately 200–220 feet from the road and injuring seven persons.
“The injured have been identified as Irfan Ahmed, son of Gh Rasool Butt; Nazim Butt, son of Mohd Yousif Butt; Mozim Shafi, son of Mohd Shafi; Mubashir Hussain, son of Mohd Yousif; Adil Hussain, son of Mohd Sabir; Ashiq Ali, son of Riyaz Ahmed—all residents of Dhival Ghundna—and Yasir Hamid, son of Abdul Hamid, a resident of Massri Ghundna,” he said.
The official said all injured persons were shifted to GMC Doda for treatment.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognisance of the incident and started an investigation (JKNS)
