Apple iPhone 14 Pro Camera Issue: There is a problem with the phone’s camera, users are complaining about this
Apple iPhone 14 Pro Camera Issue: Problems have been seen in the camera of iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max included in Apple’s iPhone 14 series.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro Camera Issue: The sale and delivery of the recently launched Apple’s iPhone 14 series has also started. A drawback of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max included in this series is also coming to the fore. Users have reported complaints about camera problems in these. It is being claimed by some users that the camera app of these phones is taking some time to open.
Camera problems with third-party apps
This problem builds on the previous smartphone with some early owners of the newly launched smartphone claiming that their camera shakes and makes noise in third-party apps. Apple added new camera hardware to the iPhone 14 Pro series of smartphones, including a new 48-megapixel main sensor.
It takes 4-5 seconds to open the camera app
Macrumors reports that several iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max users have complained that the camera app was taking four to five seconds to open after the camera app icon was tapped. The problem arises when the app is running in the background. Reportedly, the problem “does not appear if the camera app has been manually closed and reopened, or after the software has been reopened.”
Is this problem happening due to iOS 16.0.1 update?
Also, this issue is faced by users in photo mode and “does not happen when camera app is set to video mode.” Interestingly, the problem is limited to the camera app only and does not affect third-party camera apps, claims the report. It seems that there is no solution to the problem in the recently released iOS 16.0. Neither restarting the iPhone nor factory resetting the device provides a permanent solution, says Macrumors.
Camera making noise with time taken to open
In a recent development, users of the iPhone 14 Pro model complained on Reddit that the rear camera setup on their new smartphone oscillates spontaneously and makes noises when used with third party camera apps like Snapchat and Instagram. However, users did not face any issues with Apple’s native camera app. The company is reported to release a fix for the problem next week.
The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max come with a second-generation sensor—a 48-megapixel main camera sensor with optical image stabilization—one of the main upgrades included in the flagship series this year. These updates come with new modes like Action Mode and Photonic Engine along with improved Cinematic Mode.
