SRINAGAR: Anhui Medical University in China is now accepting applications for the Chinese Government Scholarship for the academic year 2025-26. This fully funded scholarship is open to international students worldwide, offering an opportunity to pursue a Master’s or Doctoral (PhD) degree. The duration of both Master’s and Doctoral degree programmes is three years, and the deadline to apply is February 28, 2025.

The scholarship covers full tuition fees and provides accommodation, with double rooms for Master’s students and single rooms for PhD students, though water and electricity costs must be covered by the students. Recipients will receive a monthly stipend of RMB 3,000 for Master’s students and General Scholars, while PhD and Senior Scholars will receive RMB 3,500. Additionally, medical insurance valued at RMB 800 per year is provided.
Applicants must submit a completed Chinese Government Scholarship application form, a copy of their passport, a notarised highest education certificate with certified translations if not in English or Chinese, academic transcripts, a study plan or research proposal, and two recommendation letters. Additional required documents include legal guardian documents for applicants under 18 years old, a photocopy of the foreigner physical examination form, a pre-admission letter from a Chinese university if available, and an HSK certificate if applicable.
Eligibility requirements state that applicants must be non-Chinese nationals. Those applying for a Master’s degree must hold a Bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old, while PhD applicants must have a Master’s degree and be under 40 years old.
