SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir is set to experience intermittent rain and snowfall over the next few days, with weather conditions expected to improve from March 16 onwards, according to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar.

Light to moderate rain and snow are likely across most areas on March 14 and 15, with intermittent brief spells continuing in a few places on the morning of March 16 before weather conditions stabilise in the afternoon. A generally dry period is expected from March 17 to 24, though cloudy skies may prevail on 19 March.
Authorities have issued an advisory, urging travellers, tourists, and transporters to adhere to official traffic guidelines. Farmers have been advised to suspend farming activities until March 16. Additionally, people have been cautioned against venturing into avalanche-prone slopes, as well as areas vulnerable to landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones.
