SRINAGAR: The body of a man was recovered from the river Jhelum near the Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar on Monday, officials said.

An official said that the man has been identified as Tariq Ahmad of Pampore, and his body has been sent to the hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident. —(KNO)
