CRPF Constable Birhade Yogesh Ashok Commits Suicide in Awantipora, Kashmir”
In a tragic incident, a CRPF personnel, identified as Constable Birhade Yogesh Ashok, son of Birhade Ashok Manik and a resident of Maharashtra, allegedly took his own life by shooting himself in the Awantipora area of Pulwama district in South Kashmir.Ks
Constable Ashok, who was posted with E-coy 130 and serving on guard duty at JIC Awantipora, died on the spot after shooting himself with his own service rifle.
Following the incident, a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team was called to the location, and necessary legal procedures were followed.
The body has been shifted to PCR Srinagar, and the Awantipora Police Station has initiated the necessary actions under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC).
