Authorities in the north Kashmiri district of Bandipora said a dead corpse was found in the Gamroo region on Thursday morning.

The body was discovered by onlookers close to the Gamroo Gundqaisar bridge, and they immediately called the police.
The deceased has been identified as Bagh Bandipora native Junaid Ahmad Baba.
The body is now under the care of the police, who have just arrived on the site.
