: Final seniority list of Executive Engineers (Civil) of Public Works (R&B) Department.
Government Order No. 172-PW(R&B) of 2024 Dated: 21.06.2024
WHEREAS, a tentative seniority list of Executive Engineers (Civil) was issued vide Notice No. PWD-HRM1/33/2024-05 (CC:7453688) dated 30.04.2024, for inviting objections, if any, from the members of the service within a period of 15 days from the date of issuance of the notice;
AND WHEREAS, objections were received from some engineers/retired engineers for inclusion of name in the seniority list of Executive Engineers/correction in name/correction in date of birth;
AND WHEREAS, these objections were examined and it has been found that the request made by Er. Quam-ud-din for inclusion of his name in the seniority list of Executive Engineers is not tenable as he has retired from services before the date of occurrence of a vacancy of Executive Engineer. The case of Er. Showkat Ahmad Reshi is being examined separately in the Department. As regards the case of Er. Mehraj-uddin Bhat-II, the necessary documents have been forwarded to the J&K PSC for release of the withheld recommendations at the level of Executive Engineer and as and when the recommendations for his regularization as Executive Engineer are received from the Commission and subsequent order to this effect is issued by the Department, his name shall be included in the seniority list at appropriate place. As regards correction in the name of Er. Aijaz Ahmad Dhar, the request has been examined and found genuine and necessary change has accordingly been made in the seniority list;

AND WHEREAS, Er. Suneel Dutt Modeel, Er. Romesh Singh submitted objections for correction in their names and Er. Vinod Kumar submitted objection for correction in his date of birth. Their cases were examined and it has been found that the DPC/J&K PSC has withheld the recommendations in their cases for regularization as Executive Engineers for want of some documents. Necessary correction in their names/date of birth shall be made once their names are included in the seniority list after release of the withheld recommendations in their case, followed by orders of regularization.
Now, therefore, a final seniority list of Executive Engineers (Civil) as on 01-042022 is
hereby notified, as per ‘Annexure-A’ to this Government Order. The date(s) of birth and the category status mentioned against each officer in the seniority list shall not be taken as
authentic and shall be subject to further verification from the concerned issuing authorities and also verification from service books/matriculation date of birth certificates of theconcerned officers.
