An official said that the injured include an 18-year-old resident of Gatipora Budgam, and four others aged 42, 36, 21 and 34 years, all from the same locality.
They were first taken to Sub-District Hospital Khansahib and later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for specialised treatment. All are stated to be stable.
Police have taken cognisance of the matter and started further investigation. (KNC)
