Terms and Conditions for Engagement

The engagement of Junior Residents is subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Affidavit Submission:
  • Candidates must submit an affidavit, attested by a judicial or first-class magistrate, with the following declarations:
    • Information or documents submitted by the candidate are accurate. If found incorrect, their engagement will be terminated.
    • Candidates will not participate in any protests or strikes.
    • Adherence to the departmental roster and maintaining discipline is mandatory.
    • Candidates must not be involved in any criminal activity. There should be no pending FIRs or criminal cases against them.
    • One month’s salary will be kept as a deposit and released upon successful completion of the tenure.
  1. Employment Restrictions:
  • Candidates are not allowed to leave their position before completing their six-month term. Abandoning the job early will result in forfeiting the experience certificate and remuneration for the remaining period.
  • Junior Residents cannot engage in private practice during their tenure. Violations will lead to immediate termination.
  • Candidates must reside near the associated hospitals of GMC Anantnag.
  1. Salary:
  • Junior Residents will be paid according to S.0-364 of 2020, dated 27th November 2020.
  • The salary will be released only after receiving a satisfactory CID/police verification report.
  1. No Prior Junior Residency:
  • Candidates who have previously worked as Junior Residents in any medical college or institution are not eligible for this position.

Affidavit Format for Selected Candidates

As per the notification, candidates are required to submit an affidavit with the following declarations:

  • If any submitted information or document is found to be false, their engagement will be terminated immediately.
  • They will refrain from participating in protests, strikes, or demonstrations during their tenure.
  • Candidates must follow the department’s schedule strictly and maintain discipline.
  • They are not involved in any criminal activity, and no FIR or criminal case is pending against them.
  • One month’s salary will remain with the department and will be released after the successful completion of the tenure.
  • They will not leave the department before completing the six-month term without giving one month’s prior notice. Failing this, their one month’s salary will be forfeited.
  • Private practice is strictly prohibited, and violation will result in termination.
  • They will reside in the vicinity of the associated hospitals during their tenure.

Candidates whose JK Medical Council/MCI Registration is pending will not be allowed to join. Their engagement will be canceled without further notice.
