GMC Kathua Provisional Selection List for Senior Residents & Demonstrators

Instructions for Selected Candidates:

• Reporting: Selected candidates must report to the office of the Principal, GMC Kathua, within seven days from the issuance of the selection order. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the selection, and the next candidate on the merit list will be considered.
• Documentation: At the time of joining, candidates are required to submit two office files and two sets of self-attested photocopies of the following documents:
  1. Joining application
  2. Selection order
  3. 10th diploma/marks card (Date of Birth proof)
  4. MBBS/BDS degree certificate or Medical M.Sc. degree certificate
  5. MBBS/BDS registration certificate
  6. MBBS/BDS marks cards (all professionals) or Medical M.Sc. marks cards (all semesters)
  7. MBBS/BDS attempt certificate
  8. MBBS internship completion certificate
  9. MD/MS/Medical PhD degree
  10. MD/MS registration certificate
  11. Domicile certificate of UT of J&K
  12. J&K Bank passbook copy (for salary purposes)
• Medical Council Registration: Candidates must possess a permanent registration certificate from the J&K Medical Council at the time of joining.
• For Public Service Commission (PSC) Candidates: Those selected through the PSC are required to obtain a relieving order from the Administrative Department before joining.
• Salary Disbursement: Salaries will be disbursed only after the office receives a satisfactory character and antecedent verification report from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of J&K.

CID Verification Process:

The CID verification process is conducted online. Candidates should ensure they have a valid and active mobile number, as they will receive an SMS from the CID Headquarters containing a Form ID, password, and a link to the verification portal. Candidates must complete and submit the online form within seven days of receiving the SMS. It is crucial to review the application thoroughly before submission, as incomplete or incorrect forms may delay the verification process.
